Melissa & Paul contacted me through Rock My Wedding to photograph their super quirky South London Wedding . It was the coolest combination of Rustic meets the City. I loved it!
I caught up with Melissa in the morning along with her bridesmaids and beautiful nieces. I was pretty excited to photograph all of Melissa's details. Her dress was simply awesome! Long sleeve, full of lace and floral embellishment. It had the most vintage feel that became a constant throughout their day. A little way off from Clapham Common, this bride and groom chose to hold their ceremony in church. Something very important to them. A vintage red bus then took their party to their reception at Balham Bowls Club. Obviously the bus came in handy for some couple portraits before whizzing everyone off to the party. Upstairs at the bowls club was full of character I can see why these guys picked it! Fairy lights, bird cages falling from the ceiling and plenty of space to hold their guests. It is always lovely to find these hidden gems. Spaces that are a little different but have so much influence on the wedding day. I was thrilled to be apart of this one, check it out! Sarah
