A Squerryes Estate Wedding in Kent for Rachel & Alex

Rachel and Alex got married! From my first meeting with these guys they really embraced my approach and my ethos of laid back and natural wedding photography. Because of this I knew that they would be such a fantastic couple to work with. They were planning a romantic and pretty stylish Kent Wedding that would allow me to creatively document the wonderful day that they had in front of them.

They married at St Mary's Church in Westerham followed by a Reception at Squerryes Estate. A combination of venues that I have previously shot at and always thoroughly enjoy. Rachel's fathers pride and joy  (a beautiful red bus) shuttled their guests between the two locations and parked up for the bride and groom to have some portraits alongside.  If you are looking for the perfect way to transport your guests these big red buses are the way forward!  I can't get enough of them!

Rachel and Alex had a clear idea of the day that they wanted to put on and definitely executed that vision. With lots of lovely local suppliers involved this wedding was dreamy, romantic and very beautiful!
With the pairing of subtle pink and cream tones, Rachel decorated their marquee so well! With a statement floral chandelier made by Posy & Wild to set the venue off!

When I arrived with Rachel at the bridal preparations I was met to find the lovely Natasha Quinton  who was busy working on some natural hair and makeup for the bride and her bridesmaids. It was such a chilled atmosphere here that ran throughout the whole day! The girls had such a laugh in morning and I had a lot of fun with them all, especially when we got to the group shots. No one ever said a group shot had to be formal. Take that opportunity to have a giggle. I may even crack a bad joke and make fun of myself. If anything that will certainly make you laugh.

Oh, but before I show you these shots Del boy left his van.....someone might want to tell him that! The groom arrived at church in the bright yellow three wheeler and I think it is still there.....check the blog out first though before you go and investigate ;).

Enjoy,
Sarah x
