Whitstable Beach + Kelly and Pierce, throw in some fish and chips, an incredibly fluffy dog and two caterpillar cakes and you my friend have the recipe for an awesome wedding!
I was so happy to be invited to photograph Kelly & Pierce's Wedding day. I had met these two a few years back at Sophie & Chester's amazing barn wedding where they were an important part of the bridal party. So when Kelly contacted me I knew that her day would be as equally as chilled, laid back and pretty quirky.
Kelly wasn't too worried about having the bridal preparations covered so I met Pierce at East Quay ready for their ceremony. It was my first time shooting at this venue. I had heard just how unique and relaxed it was and I wasn't disappointed. Set on the beachfront it is the perfect place for something a little alternative.
Kelly arrived to her ceremony looking amazinnnngg!! She stepped out of her car in a beautiful lace dress with the coolest head piece made by the very talented Tina Money from Armour Medusa. (Check her out she's awesome) Kelly's alternative style was greatly matched with her cute little bouquet. It was your perfect fit for a very rock and roll wedding. She met Pierce at the top of the aisle and had held hands throughout. It was perfect.
After the I do's were over the couple headed out to the beach for confetti, some natural portraits and to begin their afternoon of drinking, dancing, laughter and Lots of chips!!! Thankyou both for allowing me to document your day. It was a pleasure.
Enjoy x
